The dev talk also finally gave us an official confirmation from the devs themselves that the Horizon multiplayer game does, in fact, exist. Van Beek had also confirmed earlier this year that Aloy’s adventure would continue in the Horizon series, though it’s possible that she won’t always take center stage, much like with the recent VR title, Horizon Call of the Mountain.
These “plans” likely have to do with Guerrilla Games’ upcoming projects relating to the Horizon series, including a solo adventure for Aloy as well as a possible Zero Dawn remake that we reported on last year. Director Jan-Bart van Beek claimed that the studio had 16 plans “clicking on,” including four new titles to look forward to in the future, claiming that the studio is “going to be continuing it for a very long while.” It looks like Guerrilla Games’ Horizon franchise is far from over, according to a recent talk by studio devs at Develop:Brighton.
